Our WordPress multilingual Multisite plugin also has a functionality to synchronize connected posts. This supports custom post types and beside syncing, it can also create posts.
In the example below we will activate sync for the custom post type “FAQ”. We enable to create and delete / trash faqs in all languages. Also we want to sync all post data, but only custom post meta fields. Terms will also be synced along.

If I publish a post on, say, the English site, will it automatically get translated and synced on the German site? I mean the post body, not the meta-data.
Secondary question, can this automatically sync BuddyPress posts?
