Wenn Sie einen “Geocoder failed due to: REQUEST_DENIED”-Fehler erhalten, dann klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf Ihre Website, klicken Sie auf inspizieren und öffnen Sie die Browser-Konsole. Laden Sie Ihre Shop-Locator-Seite neu und achten Sie auf Google-Fehler. Ein Beispiel unten:Das obige Beispiel zeigt diesen Fehler.

Prüfen Sie außerdem, ob Ihr API-Schlüssel in der Google Console richtig eingerichtet ist:

  • Erlauben Sie Ihrer Domain den Zugriff auf den Schlüssel
  • Aktivieren: Google Places API-Webdienst
  • Aktivieren: Google Maps JavaScript
  • Aktivieren: Google Maps Geokodierung

Falls dies nicht funktioniert – öffnen Sie die Entwicklerkonsole. Laden Sie die Seite erneut und sehen Sie sich den Konsolenfehler an.

    I can’t get my API to work …

    I have followed the steps of several tutorials and I don’t get it to work.

    I have followed these steps:

    1- I have gone to google cloud platform
    2- Create API
    3- I have chosen the second option HTTP referrers (web sites) – I have tried both putting the url of my website and leaving it blank.
    4- I create the API and enter it in the corresponding field of the plugin.

    This does not work…

    Geolocation API is UP
    Maps JavaScript API is UP

    Any idea what it could be?

    Hallo,

    Ich kann es nicht bekommen, um zu arbeiten, wenn ich Chrome DevTools Konsole öffne ich diese Fehler erhalten:

    “You have included the Google Maps JavaScript API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.”

    Diese WP-Installation verwendet auch Google-Analytics-Dashboard-for-WP

    Diese scheint das gleiche Javascript für Google Maps zu enthalten. Was kann getan werden, um diesen Konflikt zu vermeiden? Ich danke Ihnen!

    Google Analytics Dashboard sollte das Maps JS-Skript nicht ausführen? Fragen Sie bitte den anderen Plugin-Entwickler.

    please check your browser console to get the exact Google Maps error log details. There you also find a link that will help you.

    We continue to this get error mssg: ‘Geocoder failed due to: REQUEST_DENIED’ despite having set up the Google Maps API, site is verified etc – can you provide some clear direction on what needs to be done to resolve the issue.

    you will need to enable the Geocoding Service in Google API Console.

    Does Google Maps Now require payment to work with store locator? We can not figure out a way to get the GEOCode to go a way with out a payment account?

    Hi,
    yes I enabled.
    if you go to the link you can see the error in the console.

    I have also problem with the modal view….the page is totally black…(there’s black background set) even if manually removed it’s not usable.

    can you have a look at it?

    Hi there,

    it seems like your API Key is expired. The error message directs to https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#expired-key-map-error

    This you need to fix in google’s API console. Otherwise pleae send WP-Admin to [email protected] and with a link to your Modal issue.

    keys generated as help 3 times.
    Api enabled.

    Have you enabled the Geocoding service for your API Key?
