The difference between a category &amp; a filter is this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Store Categories only display in one select field regardless of the levels<\/li>\n<li>Store filters can be used to show multiple checkboxes or select fields<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The logic operator for query is AND. Means if for example clothing and free parking is checked only stores, that have both filters will be shown.<\/p>\n<h2>Create Store Categories<\/h2>\n<p>To create store categories go to your backend &gt; store locator &gt; categories. Here you can create a new category with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name<\/li>\n<li>Description<\/li>\n<li>Linked to a WooCommerce Category<\/li>\n<li>Custom Icon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Create Store Filter<\/h2>\n<p>For store filters go to your backend &gt; store locator &gt; filter. Here you can create a new filter with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name<\/li>\n<li>Description<\/li>\n<li>Linked to a WooCommerce Category<\/li>\n<li>Custom Icon<\/li>\n<li>Input Type (checkboxes OR select field)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Only the 2nd level filters will be shown as checkboxes inside the store locator.
